Fruit Preserves


Papaya Preverse
It is kind of Khmer snack for using during October or December because that time is flood season and most of the plants was dead so we will keep all fruit which this way. The picture above is green papaya. We cut it and design like flower to make it look more delicious. It is sweet because final step for cooking, we boil it with sweet. Not only papaya that can make fruit preserve but other kind such as lemon, winter melon also can be.
If you want to taste it, you can come to Cambodia with harvest season. You will get it at country side.
